Body is medium amber. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (toasted grain, cookie), lightly hoppy (apricot), lightly yeasty (dough). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Fresher bottle (new to Colorado), but still very boring. Not much like a German altbier either. Terrible head character/retention. paleface1982 (13), cabot, Arkansas, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 22, 2007 Orange-amber color with a small off white head. Weak malty aroma. Smooth, just barely sweet; hints of cherry and orange. Just a little hop bite on the mostly dry finish. Thirst quenching and pleasant, but is it really worth the effort to ship this beer all the way from Alaska? It’s nothing special and there are lots of local alternatives here, and probably where you live too.
