Commercial Description:
Richly malty and long on the palate, with just enough hop backing to make this beautiful amber colored "alt" style beer notably well-balanced.

On tap while in Seattle. Pours a nice light amber color with a small off white head. Aroma of malt and toffee. Taste is sweet with a hint of spice and caramel, Easy to drink with a smooth finish. Nothing real exciting but worth a try.

Pours dark amber with light activity. Medium size White mostly diminishing head and no lacing. It didn’t have a distinct arom a, but we detected light hints of malt. Initially light sweet increasing into a moderately sweet taste for an average duration. Th in to medium body with a watery texture and soft carbonation. Reviewed on November 11th

My all time Fav. Nice red amber color. A sweet malty taste. Medium body, very refreshing. Carmel flavor without the carmel being to overpowerful.

Draught at an overpriced seafood restaurant in Seattle. Nice reddish-amber with a good sized head. Aroma of toasty malt with a pleasant sweetness. Medium, refreshing body. Well-balanced flavour of malt, caramel, and clean, fresh hops. A solid session beer.

The label described this beer as an "Alt Style," and while this seemed a bit of a disconnect to me, I thought this beer was quite good. Appearance was a brilliant red-brown with great amounts of white head with good staying power. Aroma was malty, and a bit reminiscent to me of the way a bock smells. Flavor was also "bock malt" flavor with lots of unexpected chocolate taste. Mouthfeel was good but almost coarse and chalky, which seemed to help rub the chocolate taste into my taste buds. I found this beer to be highly drinkable.

Dark head and bold flavor. Caramel flavor with dark oats comes out with a strong aroma. Overall a pleasing and well finishing Amber.

Copper red-amber with a creamy tan head. Smoky, roasted malt aromas. Soft, fruity flavors pervades the generous maltiness of this beer. Floral hops round out the caramel malts. A smooth and balanced beer.

On tap at Bucer’s. Nice amber color, with fast diminishing head. Nothing exception in the nose. Flavor is crisp at first with some light hoppiness. Finishes very smooth. Overall a very good beer.
