Aug 15, 2006 Bottle sampled with Stegosaurus, obtained through my west coast connection. Pours deep amber with an eggshell colored head. Aroma of sweetness and caramel. The flavor is much the same with carbonation sneaking in there as well as its watery body.

Aug 14, 2006 nice light tawny cola colour with a fizzy tiny short lasting white head - nothing like the photo -might be off. Sweet caramel malt roast with light spice nose. medium light smooth palate consistent with altbier - if there is one in teh first place. Sweet medium intensity soft sweet caramel, low bitterness. Pleasant enough.

Aug 12, 2006 Many thanks to chadzter for bringing this back from AK. Pours a very bubbly amber with copper tones, a medium sized frothy and foamy head, lined lacing. Aroma is yeast (sweat, dough), malt (straw, grain, meal) and grass, flowers, earth. Medium sweet caramel malt and grainy meal flavor, grassy yeast, fizzy and spicy hops, mild bitterness and acidity. Medium bodied and fizzy-spicy palate.

Aug 7, 2006 Updated: Sep 14, 2007Draught. Pours, well, amber, with a pretty good offwhite head. Aroma is mainly caramel malt and some nuttiness, moderately sweet, with noticeable roast and with a hint of floral hops. Flavor is similar; mainly nutty caramel with a fwe hops, and quite smooth. A good session beer.

Aug 6, 2006 12oz bottle via trade with cbkschubert! - Thanks Craig! - Pours amber with a pretty fair offwhite head that stays well but doesn’t lace much. Aroma is caramel malts, and some faint floral hop notes. Flavor is all malts though. Caramel, a touch of chocolate, lots of earthiness, and maybe even a touch of smoke. There is just a kiss of floral hops on the finish but not much. Medium body. Smooth in the mouth. Not bad.

Aug 1, 2006 Pours amberish, with a mild head. Flavor is malty, with a nice dose of citrus. Aroma is mostly malty, much of the same. A very refreshing drink, and good beer overall. Nice with a meal, etc.

Jul 28, 2006 Bottle sampled with beerded_one through his west coast connection. Pours orange\brown with a decent sized off white head. Aroma of caramel malts, citrus, and brown sugar. Flavor is sweet, caramel, brown sugar, citrus,goes down thin, but a good brew.
