Jul 23, 2006 On tap at Claim Jumper. Poured a dark amber color(who would have guessed that) with a nice white head. Malty aroma through and through, smelled kinda like Coke to me. Taste was very smooth with a moderately sweet malty end. Matched well with buffalo wings there.

Jul 21, 2006 this had a small head.Color nice brown.aroma was caramel,malty,slight metallic.tasted medium bodied.well balanced between sour and bitter.finished with an interesting pear taste.approaching a red ale.

Jul 19, 2006 12-oz. Pours a dark amber with a modest medium-white head. Big bready, yeasty nose. The body approaches middleweight, with some mild carb. The attack is cardboardy mild malt with some sweet malt on the mid palate, and a slightly sour, vacant finish.

Jul 19, 2006 On tap at La Comida in Cody, WY. Pours a medium amber with a medium off-white head. Very nice caramel and malt aroma. Flavor followed the aroma. Great finish, very smooth. Wish this was available on the East Coast.

Jul 17, 2006 Caramelly malt nose, with a tiny bit of banana esters in the background. Dark amber with a medium yellow head; Flavor is like a caramel banana, with some light chocolate in the background.

Jul 9, 2006 On draft at TS MCHughs in Seattle. Nice copper color with smaller head. Sweet, malty and roasted nose. Taste is a great amber...very drinkable.
