Rerate 2/24/08: Draft: Pours golden with a large white head. Nose is malty and earthy, light florals and bits of toffee. Flavor is earthy and malty. Roasty tones and nuttiness. Still one of my go-to brews when the pickins are slim. JB99 (27), Dallas, Texas, USA

Poured just like the label indicated. Flavor was all malts, sweet and caramel. Palate was good. Overall this was just solid, a nice drinker something you could easily have a few more. paulmetzger (152), Pocatello, Idaho, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 25, 2006 Pours ruddy amber with moderate carbonation. Not much in the way of aroma, just light and sweet. Starts sharp, really the only hop bitter in there - then the malt quickly takes over. Moves on pretty smooth.
