Commercial Description:
Richly malty and long on the palate, with just enough hop backing to make this beautiful amber colored "alt" style beer notably well-balanced.

bottle - Pours light amber with a thin white head. It has a faint caramel malt aroma. The flavor is also mainly of caramel malt with a light hops and a light body. It’s actually pretty good for what it is.

Clear copper pour with a minimal white head. Some malt in the aroma, some nutty toasty aromas, but overall the aroma is very restrained. Slightly sweet, no real hops here. Some salty metallic flavor in the finish.

Bottled. Poura a clear coppery amber with a tan head. Sweet malt, honey and yeast in the aroma with a mild hint of floral hops. The flavor is sweetly nutty toffee. Quick finish of fruit and a touch of bitterness. Super-sessionable.

As the name indicates, a true amber. Small white head. Nutty robust malted nose. Slightly bitter but not as much so as most German alts. Sweet with earthy, fruity hints. Finished a little watery but quite nice overall.

This is one of my favoite ambers. Rich and malty on the palate and lingers for quite some time. Awsome amber color, nice white head, great nutty and caramel flavor.

Reminds me a little of fat tire. Excellent aroma and color (dark copper). Not as malty as FT, but a little sweeter. The flavor lingers. A good beer, but a little pricey.
