| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 2, 2009 This orange beer poured with a decent beige head and a bread aroma. The malt flavor is too thin, even for an altbier, but it is thicker on the palate. Perhaps an ok session beer. Beerdedone (1888), Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 25, 2008 22oz bottle, A081908--not sure if this is the bottled on or best by date, purchased from Bottle Barn earlier today. Clear copper amber with a one finger yellowish white head, fair retention. Aroma of fruity, caramel, and toasted malts up front with some metallic notes. Flavor is the same with some light noble hops keeping things from getting too sweet. Bitterness peaks at a 3. Moderate carbonation with a light body. Not too bad--glad I got to finally try it. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 13, 2009 Bottle (in NZ). Pours a copper colour with a thin white head. Caramal malt aroma, very slightly metallic. The palate is again slightly metallic. But the flavour is an interesting combination of grainy malt and peppery hop, with hints of fruit. The dry finish also has a short salty tang.
