| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 12, 2004 Bottle. Deep amber, tan head. Quite malty, a little earthy and caramelly, a bit of some earthy hops balanced it out nicely. Lighter to medium body, quite smooth and easy drinking. I’d probably drink again. Malty and fruity aroma with some melon and tea, herbs, and grass balancing. The flavor is toffeeish and sweet with only a marginal grassy hop balance. A little yeasty, with low bitterness. medium to light bodied with fizzy carbonation. Just a little to sweet/not hoppy enough for me, but definitely not unpleasant. (3.2) Rerate: Ya, the sweetness gets a little annoying.
