Commercial Description:
Richly malty and long on the palate, with just enough hop backing to make this beautiful amber colored "alt" style beer notably well-balanced.

Tap at, well I can’t really remember where but I know it was in Las Vegas. Pours a nice copper color with a thick white head. Aroma is nice sweet malt and caramel. Taste is similar, nice caramel touch with sweet malts and a touch of bitterness. Good session brew.

Tried this in the back of a tour bus on the way to a drum corps show. Decent smell. Has fruity notes and ferment. Tastes of cherries and aged fruit. Decent to say the least.

Clear brown with a fuzzy, beige cover. Faint, fruity aroma with some raisin/currant and a touch of caramel. Raisiny malt flavour with very subtle hops. Alcoholic banana notes. Some low bittering and a little bit of a spicy bite from the malt(?). Medium body and low carbonation. Clean finish. Nothing remarkable.

12 oz bottle. Poured a clear copper color with a one finger white head. The aroma was caramel malt and a bit of earthy hops. The flavor was well balanced, with a solid caramel malt base and an earthy, bitter finish. This was a pretty solid brew.

Draft, from mini keg. Good nose, Malty. Apple/grape/carmel toffee. Nice orange amber color. Fruity bitter flavors. Carmel apples come to mind. Creamy smooth mouth feel. Mild hoppiness shows up on the finish. Good beer. Had this at Sandy Beach In Juneau as part of tour on beer cruise with folks from brewery.

I tried this while on vacation in Las Vegas, coming back from Hawaii. I don’t have specific notes about the beer, but I remember it being slightly above average and I remember being excited to try a beer from Alaska!

Wonderful malt aroma, clear amber color, smooth malt taste, little bit of a nut finish and a little bitter at the end. This was nice but when I had it in Alaska it was near top rated stuff

Tap at the Falling Rock taphouse. Amber orange with a full, creamy beige head. Aroma of brown sugar, cinnamon, toffee, and tea-like fruit sweetness. Flavor is calm nuttiness and fruity bitterness; pear skins, orange rind, and wood. Reserved, quenching, and softly rich. Palate is crisp and medium in body, with some acidic dryness and fruitiness in the finish. Seems to be treated very well fresh on tap; charming, laid back, ultimately refreshing, and pristinely drinkable.
