Commercial Description:
Richly malty and long on the palate, with just enough hop backing to make this beautiful amber colored "alt" style beer notably well-balanced.

Nice fluffy cotton head sits atop a moderately carbonated burnt orange body. The aroma is all malt with caramel & toffee dominant. Flavor is sweeter than most. A good drinkable session beer. Solid.

12oz btl, acquired from a nice gentleman at the Jack Daniels distillery of all places. Dark red/amber pour, fizzy diminishing head. Aroma is honeyed malts, toffee and graham crackers, all blended nicely. Subtlety is an Alaskan strength, best showcased here. Flavor is still sweet malts, with notes of toffee, berries and mild hop character near the end. finishes clean and sweet. Nice session beer.

Great for a beer that you can find almost anywhere in the NW. Nice amber color, thick, almost syruppy feel to it. A bit too sweet for my liking though.

So smooth... I wasn't a fan of the style til I tried Alaskan. Nice malty brew. Great mouthfeel. Love the taste although a bit on the sweet side. Sweetness gets to you on your third pint. Nice to drink in a hot tub.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear amber color with a small diminishing white head. The aroma is caramel malt, lightly toasted grains, and light fruity hops. The flavor is more roasted than the nose indicated. Roasted caramel malts, light fruit (plum/prune), mild bitterness, and toffee. Medium bodied fairly easy to drink.

This is definitely the best "Alt" I have had yet. Aroma is a bit nutty, deep amber color. Nice sweetness, bitter finish. Try this beer!
