Sweet, smooth and just a little bit watery going down. One of my favorite beers to looka t and not bad to drink either. UNCCTF (465), Charlotte, North Carolina, USA

Poured a pure amber color, had a rapidly diminishing white head. Citrus and a slight alcohol aroma. Slightly hoppy, sour flavor with plenty of malt to balance it off. I definitely enjoyed this, though I found the Summer Ale to be a bit more tasty. The Alaskan Brewing Company hasn't let me down yet! Gromit (462), Port Orchard, Washington, USA

This is their flagship beer and to be honest, I’ve never been much of a fan. I’m going to skip the formalities since just about everyone has had it. I can never get much head on it like they have in the picture, but I’m guessing that was poured on tap. It’s too sweet for my liking, so in that way I think it’s more of an Amber than and Alt, but it definitely has some Alt characteristics. Alaskan brews a few great beers, but this isn’t one of them. Malty sweet nose. Pretty good. Slightly slick on the tongue. Definitely on the sweeter side of the spectrum. savnac (453), Palmer, Alaska, USA

Good malt flavor, slightly sweet, with a nice smooth finish. Soft carbonation. This is a good beer out of the bottle but even better on tap. One of Alaska’s better known beers. baobubba (450), Corvallis, Oregon, USA

Very little hops flavor as well, mostly just sweet. The body is thin which keeps it less filling. A decent beer for non beer drinking company. Hooker (450), New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada
