Nov 6, 2007 Poured a clear deep amber color with a small off-white head. Sweet caramel aroma. The flavor was sweet and malty with an earthy hop on the crisp finish. Semi-dry finish.

Oct 25, 2007 Picked up single 12-oz bottle at John’s Marketplace in Portland, OR. Pours a clear coppery amber brew with a fast dissolving white head that leaves behind some spotty lacing and white ring. Aroma is very malty, sweet caramel malt, some fruity pears, and multi-grain biscuits. Taste is medium bodied, lightly carbonated with a biscuity malt and flowery hop flavor. Finish has a good balance of malt and hop bitterness.

Aug 19, 2004 Orange amber body with smallish off white head. Sweet slightly toasty caramel in the aroma. The flavour is likewise, with a sweet maltiness supporting the caramel. Very sweet but not cloyingly so. Light but very smooth mouthfeel. My Mom went to Alaska and all I got was this tasty beer! :)

Sep 16, 2002 Medium copper color, large head. Complex malt flavor, medium hopped. Malts have a near fruitlike taste (pear?) Finish is smooth. Aftertaste is malty, very little bitterness. Complex taste, very smooth. Very drinkable. Nice beer.

Dec 26, 2005 This bottled brew poured a small sized head of fine to medium sized of unnoted length white colored bubbles that left behind a good lacing. The body contained soft carbonation, was transparent and caramel brown in color. Its aroma contained notes of sweet malty bready . Its mouth feel is initially tingly with a palate and a very mild bock aftertaste. Its flavor contained sweet malt mild cherry notes. Strange.

Jun 20, 2007 Bottle. Small fizzy head that very quickly disappeared. Clear and flat looking body with an amber color. Aroma of cookie, toffee, grain, peach and fruit. Medium bodied with an average carbonation. Moderated sweet fruity flavor with light bitterness. Finish off sweet and fruity.

May 7, 2008 Bottle. I was not a fan of this beer. Pours Amber white 2 finger head quickly diminsishing to this hoppy, fruity alt. Wheat and earthy notes. eh.
