Decent tan head that didn’t last too long though. Smooth, malty and bitter. Nicely done. Re-rated the head retention in a tulip glass and it did a bit better. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jul 9, 2007 Pours a translucent amber with an average creamy off white head that left some lacing. Aroma of malty sweetness, some nuts, clean, some caramel. Flavors of the same...reminded me of Yeungling Lager...but better. hotstuff (3176), Indiana, USA

Has a pleasant, sparkly light copper appearance with a decent off white head with a wee bit of lacing. No real noticeable aroma. Has a bit of an sweet caramel flavor to it - very drinkable. One of the best Alts I have had. Loses a bit of its luster near the end however. GeneralGao (3071), Iowa City, Iowa, USA
