Nov 10, 2005 12oz Bottle from Fordest. Pours a ruby amber color with minimal fizzy head. Nose is almost vacant, some light caramel notes here and there. Taste is very nice though. A great malt feeling, rich nuttiness, and some sweet caramel, rounded out with a nice bitter finish.

Jun 13, 2007 From Juneua to the Sahar in Las vegas and back to Winnipeg. What a small world. Finally solved the mysterey of this beer being labeled Paco’s at the Sahara. Liked this one a lot. Would have it again (just in smaller quantities)

Aug 20, 2007 #900! And while this may not be the most exciting beer. Nor does it have extremely high gravity or a vintage dating, I have been looking forward to trying this beer for some time now. Honey amber hued. Tight ring of off-white head. Red fruity notes wrapped up in a caramel bready aroma. Medium bodied with wonderfully sweet smooth malts. Mild bitterness and a moderately long tingling finish. Really nice citrus and berry acidity. Grapefruity undertones in the finish. Wonderful opportunity to try this beer! Great milestone!

Feb 12, 2007 The label described this beer as an "Alt Style," and while this seemed a bit of a disconnect to me, I thought this beer was quite good.
Appearance was a brilliant red-brown with great amounts of white head with good staying power. Aroma was malty, and a bit reminiscent to me of the way a bock smells. Flavor was also "bock malt" flavor with lots of unexpected chocolate taste. Mouthfeel was good but almost coarse and chalky, which seemed to help rub the chocolate taste into my taste buds. I found this beer to be highly drinkable.

Oct 20, 2008 Draught. High creamy off-white and lasting head. Clear amber body. Sweet fruity alcohol aroma. Fruty bitter flavor without the alcohol indicated by the aroma. High carbonation. Long aftertaste.

Oct 2, 2006 GABF 06. Amber in color obviously. Aroma is caramel malt, with some hops. Taste is caramel with a good hop balance and a clean finish.
