Commercial Description:
Richly malty and long on the palate, with just enough hop backing to make this beautiful amber colored "alt" style beer notably well-balanced.

Appropriate that I’m drinking this on ANZAC day here in New Zealand. It tastes and smells so much like freshly baked ANZAC biscuits. It’s also the most beautiful looking beer I’ve seen in a long time - a brilliantly clear fiery red-amber, like glowing embers. This might be the perfect autumn session ale. Slightly to high ABV for a session, but still, so moreish. The end of the glass came way too quickly.

The bottle pours clear and true to name with fluffy beige head. It smells intensely of caramel and candied sugar or fruits, figs. The flavor is sweet as well. Heavy caramel notes with a slow finish. It’s very smooth, and light to medium bodied. Incredibly drinkable.

This is a nice amber; medium brown color, malty sweet nose with a hint of hops, flavor is very similar to the nose, medium body, finshes a little bitter but not overwhelming.

Pours with a fluffy semi-loose head with a lighter amber color. The aroma is coppery with a spicy and sweet malty character with some cinnamon thrown in... cool. The flavor is nutty and roasty (roasted nuts?) with some apple. The beer is largely dry but with a nice caramel backbone and just enough hop bitterness to make it remarkably well rounded. This reminds me a bit of the Uerige Classic. and pears, thoroughly enjoyable.

Small frothy head out of the bottle with a beautiful carmel accent. I really enjoyed this one and was looking for more at the bottle of the glass.

Bottled. Amber color, weak head. Sweet and mellow aroma, slightly caramelly, nice bisquity maltiness. Mellow flavor wit good toasted bisquity character. Light bitterness. Good malt backbone but falls short on bitterness.
