Commercial Description:
Richly malty and long on the palate, with just enough hop backing to make this beautiful amber colored "alt" style beer notably well-balanced.

Roasted malt aroma with faint hops notes. Hazy reddish amber in color with particalia. Small, off-white ehad. Caramel malt flavor with solid alcohol presence. Highly carbonated. Some hops come through at mid bottle. Not ad. Not overly special, but no flaws and interesting.

Very caramelly, malty aroma and flavor. Hops are a bit hard to detect, which isn’t exactly my favorite aspect of this beer, which makes the fact that I like it even more surprising. A very drinkable, smooth, beer. Nothing spectacular, but something I can drink and be happy with.

Bottle. Pours a deep amber color, almost coppery, clear with lots of bubbles, and a compact white head that didn’t leave much lacing behind. Aroma is malty and very fruity, and I found it to be extremely pleasant. Flavor is very sweet, a bit of bitterness in the finish, but it doesn’t overpower the sweetness. Good balance between maltiness and the light fruity flavors, not much hoppiness. Mouthfeel is about right, but I thought its carbonation level was too high, I had bubbles crawling through my mouth. Overall, a respectable brew.

Red amber translucent color with a fast fading white foam head. A medium amount of carbonation is visible. Your typical looking red ale. A light vanilla and honey malt aroma very delightful. Malty sweet taste full of honey and lacking a sense of hops. Palate is quenching ut not watery. Tasty, hearty, but ultimately unevenly sweet.

Very malty. Not hoppy. Makes a good quenching beer that does not turn bad when it gets warm. I should buy this more often for friends who want to start to venture out of the swill.

Courtesy of fordest. Bottle. Aroma light and sweet caramel. Poured just like the label indicated. Flavor was all malts, sweet and caramel. Palate was good. Overall this was just solid, a nice drinker something you could easily have a few more.
