Commercial Description:
Richly malty and long on the palate, with just enough hop backing to make this beautiful amber colored "alt" style beer notably well-balanced.

(Stockholm Beer Festival 2007) Bottle. Amber/orange color, small brownish head. Roasted nutty aroma, some chocolate, raisins and figs. Malty nutty flavor, roasted and with fruity notes.

Bottle pours deep amber with a quickly diminishing head and lively carbonation.   Lightly roasted malts greet the nose.   I get a grassy/oat tinge as well.   Immediate hop kick on first sip quickly giving way to a malty aftertaste.   A slight sweet grain flavor on finishing.   Lacks good lacing, fairly full bodied.   Tiz a good Alt.

On tap: Mahogany liquid, with a lasting rich creamy head. Nose of berries, reminds me of a Anchor product. Caramel malts, berries and some earth tones. Lighter mouth feel, slightly oily. Very enjoyable.

Overall a great _easy_ drinking brew on a hot day (when Ice cold). Nothing here to challange the Pallete or expand the tasting abilities of the drinker, but nothing offensive either. A great alternative to the Buds and Coors of the world.

Bottle. Nice amber color. Good white head. Complex odors and flavors, with fruits, malts, and hops in good balance. Very nice taste. A far better than average offering.

Reminds me a little of fat tire. Excellent aroma and color (dark copper). Not as malty as FT, but a little sweeter. The flavor lingers. A good beer, but a little pricey.
