Good color but very dry and doesn’t leave a necessarily good taste in your mouth. If you like macro beer you’ll probably like this. Don’t get too excited though. 9/15/05 Had one at the BOB in Phoenix. Missed something in this beer first time arround. More balance in the flavor that gave me a better impression of this beer.

Flavor is sweet, malty, with faint bitter hoppy aftertaste. Good mouthfeel, smooth and well balanced. Good brew. ewkka (9), Wronin, Poland does not count | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Jun 21, 2006 Usual appearance, good initial head and good lacing, amber colored (not as deep a copper as I like in an alt). Malts were mildly sweet and moderately rich thomasacross (129), Edina, Minnesota, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 12, 2007 Draft at Von’s Seattle. A typical amber in color -- a nice, deep russet -- and in flavor -- a good balance between sweet and bitter. A well-executed amber. Wegro (223), Fresno, California, USA

Smells malty and nutty, tastes the same with some slight caramel. Light hops are welcome. The malt is pretty good in this one, pretty flavorful and not too watery. It’s not a beer that’s going to change your life but I like it a lot more than the other ambers I’ve had. Crafty07 (393), Florence, Kentucky, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 28, 2008 Hazy amber pour from a 12 oz bottle that can be found throughout Washington state but nowhere near where I live in Kentucky.
I agree with other reviewers who say that fine, malty beer is quite sessionable.
