Well balanced and smooth palate of honey, banana, and almonds all frolicking with the malts in this brew. A very good altbier. BrewSquid (45), Plattsburg, Missouri, USA

I was thrilled to find this beer in a 6-pack! As a beer style, Alt is an ale that is fermented and aged at lager temperatures. This gives this beer the caramel and nut flavors of an amber ale with the smoothness of a lager. Malts were mildly sweet and moderately rich thomasacross (129), Edina, Minnesota, USA

Aroma is clean biscuit/caramel malt with minimal hop character. Very clean malt flavor with just enough bitterness to counteract the sweetness. Very smooth and drinkable. I agree with other reviewers who say that fine, malty beer is quite sessionable. mcox90 (654), Wilton, USA
