Commercial Description:
Richly malty and long on the palate, with just enough hop backing to make this beautiful amber colored "alt" style beer notably well-balanced.

Bottle: poured clear amber with a small off white head. Light fruit and hop aroma. Good clean flavor. Light notes of fruit with just a touch of hops and light sweetness. Very easy drinking. Good beer.

Pours a beautiful crystal clear amber color, nice white head. Aroma is clean and malty, hints of caramel. Flavor is nice and clean, good balance between restrained hops and good malt backbone, very little evidence of yeast character. Good clean German Alt style amber ale, but relatively mainsteram. Well-made, but not terribly interesting.

Bottle, poured dark amber with a small and rapidly diminishing head. Carmel malt dominates the aroma, alfalfa and hops also present. Flavor is sweet, slightly spicey with a mild bitter finish. Smooth palate with good carbonation. Not anything extraordinary, just a nice amber ale.

on tap: looked just like the picture to the left, however i dont think the head was that nice? served way too cold, killing what little nose and flavor this beer has. slightly hop nose and same slight hop/malt flavors. much like a fat tire. but maybe a notch above. somewhat thin. easy to drink and refreshing. expected a little more from this.

Pours amber, with lots of malt, apple and caramel on the aroma. Flavor is mild, sweet, and caramel. Hops are only mildly apparent in just a hint of grapefruit and maybe a bit of earthiness. Very drinkable, and since it’s an altbier, a bit of a change of pace from most ambers.

My favorite session beer. Perfectly balanced sweetness, bitterness, and maltiness. Too bad I have to fly 2000 miles to get it.

Lots of flavor but not real appealing to me. Fruity and sweet with a touch of heavy sugar. Tastes a bit heavy to me.

Bottle. Indian red pour. Dissipating head. Malty, clean taste. Surprisingly sweet, high carbonation. As good straight from the bottle as from a glass.
