Very faint nose but has a soft floral aroma. Flavor is mostly caramel and honey. Well balance of malt and hops. Not as good as i thought it would be. FoolishMortal (966), San Diego, California, USA

Big malt and caramel aromatics. Caramel and crystal malt flavors, aligned with a slight toastiness. Finish is slightly ester fruity sweet, with a crispness of residual hop bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium, but very clean and wieldy. OldMrCrow (1200), Seattle, Washington, USA

Pours a deep amber. A pleasent session beer, well balanced between rounded malts and enough hops to keep things interesting, though sweeter than I might have expected or preferred. asteele8 (270), Mukilteo, Washington, USA

Poured a dark amber color(who would have guessed that) with a nice white head. Malty aroma through and through, smelled kinda like Coke to me. Taste was very smooth with a moderately sweet malty end. Matched well with buffalo wings there. EithCubes (2166), Indiana, USA

Malty, slightly caramellous aroma, dark with slight toast and roast. Slightly fruity. Clear copper body with a soapy beige head. Somewhat crisp beginning smooths out quickly, medium body with dominate caramel notes and lesser tones of red berries. Good balance between gentle sweetness and dry bitterness. Touch of that house toast-toffee which I love so much in their porter. Aftertaste maintains a dry fruitiness. Easy-drinking but, in the end, not all that interesting. duff’s comparison to a Newcastle Brown is apt, though this does not cloy. A very good Amber, yes, but NOT AN ALTBIER.
