Commercial Description:
Richly malty and long on the palate, with just enough hop backing to make this beautiful amber colored "alt" style beer notably well-balanced.

Clear orange-amber color, really small quickly gone head. Light malt nose. Flavor starts sweet and buttery and finishes sweet, almost too sweet. Needs a touch of hop IMHO.

A well-balanced quality amber with established malting, though it has a tendency to be flat. Otherwise a smooth, lightly flavored beer.

Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival. Clear reddish amber with a small white head. Toasted malts, caramel, grass and biscuit in aroma. Clean flavour of caramel, white bread and grass. Grassy aftertaste.

This is nice and malty up front, it has a bit of hop flavor in the middle that adds a nice component to this beer. The hop flavor could be a bin more hearty though. The hops really assert themselves in the finish; it is spicy yet mild, and has a hint of minty character to it. The malt flavors are sweet, with notes of caramel and an accompanying lightly toasted note.

Bottle. Reddish copper color with a thin white head. Aroma is sweet, fruity and caramel. Wheat and nutty flavors and definitiely sweet. A little bit of bitterness. Thin and carbonated. Wheatlike aftertaste, almost like an oat cereal taste. Not one of my favorite syles, but this is drinkable.

Pours deep red with light brown/tan head. Nose is fairly malty with notes of caramel and toffee. Flavor continues with slightly fruity, malty well-balanced character. Finishes with a clean bitterness.

Bottle. Nice, A real treat from Alaska. Now, if only the lower 48 would take note of an American tribute. Best enjoyed with friends on an afternoon football game! Bravo!

Pours with an amber/copper hue with a white head that was mostly diminishing after 2 minutes. Aroma of caramel, malts, some nuts, metal, and some very light hoppiness. I really enjoyed this aroma. Flavor has a sweet beginning with some citrus flavoring along with some other fruits. The end is hoppy. Light-Moderate carbonation with a light body. A decent beer, that I will look for again!
