Medium body. Hoppy at the start, malty finish. Good balance. Very drinkable, but not too exciting. BeerPrince (1701), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 30, 2008 Bottle. Poured a clear copper color with a thick, rocky off-white head that slowly receded and left some spotty lacing. Aroma of lightly toasted caramel malts, a light metallic aroma, and some light earthy hops. Smooth, lightly sweet entry with a bit of ice tea flavor that leads into a light fruitiness and some soft caramel that transitions into a light noble hoppiness on the finish. Low carbonation and smooth on the palate. Definitely an easy drinker. timfoolery (484), California, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 2, 2008 Low head and smell but great mouthfeel and color. The malt is clearly the centerpiece and is quite good. A bit simple but still a solid brew. This seems like the easiest to find Alaskan brew and for good reason, yet it is a bit on the simple side.
