Commercial Description:
Richly malty and long on the palate, with just enough hop backing to make this beautiful amber colored "alt" style beer notably well-balanced.

Copper/amber with a modest off-white head. Very little aroma, mostly hops and malt. Medium body. Hoppy at the start, malty finish. Good balance. Very drinkable, but not too exciting.

Amber with minimal head. Aroma is caramel malts and light spice. Flavour is caramel and sweet with a nut presence. Dry finish. Well made brew.

Coppery amber pour with a thin off-white head. Big malty aroma and taste ... earthy and rather rich for an amber. Very good.

(Bottle) Pours a clear amber body with a medium beige head. Aroma of malt, caramel, and hint of fruit. Malty base flavor with caramel and some cherry.

This is a decent brew but nothing special to go out of your way for. Not much taste but is still beer

Bottle. Poured a clear copper color with a thick, rocky off-white head that slowly receded and left some spotty lacing. Aroma of lightly toasted caramel malts, a light metallic aroma, and some light earthy hops. Smooth, lightly sweet entry with a bit of ice tea flavor that leads into a light fruitiness and some soft caramel that transitions into a light noble hoppiness on the finish. Low carbonation and smooth on the palate. Definitely an easy drinker.

On tap at the Grad. This one had some bitter overtaste, but it was basically malty and smooth. Light caramel, maybe apricot taste.

Low head and smell but great mouthfeel and color. The malt is clearly the centerpiece and is quite good. A bit simple but still a solid brew. This seems like the easiest to find Alaskan brew and for good reason, yet it is a bit on the simple side.
