I wish I could get it back east. RERATE 01/02/02: Finally managed to get some from a friend in WA. Very smooth with a medium body. Nice sweet malt and mildly hopped aroma, with some caramel notes. Stays smooth and doesn’t bitter much on the finish. I could drink this all day, and now that I can, I think I will. ttboy8099 (73), Corvallis, Oregon, USA

The flavor has what the aroma suggests, plus a bit of spiciness so it’s not unbearably sweet. Minimal bitterness, but quite full bodied. Evokes Fuller’s. AleDrinker (1090), Sunnyvale, California, USA

Nice malty brew. Great mouthfeel. Love the taste although a bit on the sweet side. Sweetness gets to you on your third pint. Nice to drink in a hot tub. BigBastard (668), L.A., California, USA

Nice sweet/malty flavor, super smooth and silky on the palate, with no bitterness or off flavors. Maybe it was because it was fresh off the tap, but it was too easy to put 3 pints away. I’m going to buy some bottles of this. Lumpy (1802), Carrollton, Texas, USA

Amber body with a one finger off white head. Nice dry spicy nose. Smells like apples and nuts. Notes of spice, banana, bubblegum, malt, and light cherry come through. Great clean finish. This is an excellent beer for any occasion. rob6799 (7), Washington, USA does not count | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Aug 8, 2004 Very nice flavor. Not heavy, just the right richness with a nice long aromatic aftertaste. Definitely Alt Style beer. Camping beer for sure. Good stuff. CaptBier (303), Birmingham, Alabama, USA
