Bottle. Pours a red-brown color with a large tan head that slowly fades. Aroma is malty, with hints of caramel, hops and is slightly sweet. The taste is much the same and has a dry finish. Overall, this is a pretty enjoyable brew at a fair price that is worth revisiting. Also, as with most of their beers, the label is pretty neat looking.

Oct 11, 2008 Draft. Pours a red toned amber. Little head. Smells very malty. Flavors are a bit too sweet. No real direction sweetness a little muddled.. Sticky on the palate. OK, but nothing too special.

Oct 10, 2008 Pours with an amber/copper hue with a white head that was mostly diminishing after 2 minutes. Aroma of caramel, malts, some nuts, metal, and some very light hoppiness. I really enjoyed this aroma.
Flavor has a sweet beginning with some citrus flavoring along with some other fruits. The end is hoppy.
Light-Moderate carbonation with a light body.
A decent beer, that I will look for again!

Sep 30, 2008 Bottle. Poured a clear copper color with a thick, rocky off-white head that slowly receded and left some spotty lacing. Aroma of lightly toasted caramel malts, a light metallic aroma, and some light earthy hops. Smooth, lightly sweet entry with a bit of ice tea flavor that leads into a light fruitiness and some soft caramel that transitions into a light noble hoppiness on the finish. Low carbonation and smooth on the palate. Definitely an easy drinker.

Sep 25, 2008 22oz bottle, A081908--not sure if this is the bottled on or best by date, purchased from Bottle Barn earlier today. Clear copper amber with a one finger yellowish white head, fair retention. Aroma of fruity, caramel, and toasted malts up front with some metallic notes. Flavor is the same with some light noble hops keeping things from getting too sweet. Bitterness peaks at a 3. Moderate carbonation with a light body. Not too bad--glad I got to finally try it.
