Interesting for the style...dark leather pour produces a 1-inch khaki head. Aroma and flavor have tons of noticeable Bing cherries...accompanied by cocoa, vanilla, and coffee. Medium mouthfeel. Unique but not a favorite.

Extremely disappointed in this one. Possibly a funky tap--almost a banana smell, candy sugar, dough. But tastes extremely sweet, like drinking spun sugar. Couldn’t get past the sweet.

Thanks jblauvs. Super black pour with a brownish tan head. Aroma is bursting with sour/black cherries, vanilla, nut, toffee, caramel, milk chocolate, and soy-alcohol. Flavor is graham cracker, marshmallow, and milk chocolate- s’mores if I do say so myself. Super sweet, fruity, and alcoholic. Uniqueness is unparalleled- never had anything quite like this. Palate is rich, thick, and creamy, with a billowing effervescence. Yummy stuff.

Dark brown/black pour with a tan head. Aroma is Vanilla, Cherry(black), bourbon, some not unpleasant soy sauce, deep and dark. Delving... Intense S’more flavor. The sweet sugar of the marshmallow, some crackery biscuit, and some dark deep chocolate. Intensely sweet on the finish. Interesting for the style..

Dark brown pour with a small tan head. Aroma holds lots of raisin, fig, cherry, vanilla, cashew, a touch of saltiness, and some caramel and chocolate malt- really nice nose overall. Flavor tastes a lot like s’mores, with chocolate, sweet sugar, and biscuit, along with more vanilla and nuttiness. Palate is smooth, though the near 10% ABV does get to the back of the throat a bit. Hell of a baltic porter overall.

2008. Creamy chocolate, bing cherry and the vanilla is coming out nicely too. smells much more dense than the dark body suggests. very dark chocolate body, heat has settled quite a bit and the vanilla is more pronounced. chocolate finish, full whipped fluffy body.

Thin tan head, short lived, little to no lace. Black bodied appearence, some ruby edging. Nose of sweets, cotton candy and marshmallow, a tad musty. Body is medium, kinda sticky, slick. Flavors follow suit with the aroma, notes of chocolate and berrys with very faint roastiness. The sugary/candyish flavors aspect of this brew was totally distracting. Sweet syrupy finish, dont think i did finish it? 08 vintage generously shared by Robert @ statelineliquors. Thanks rOberto!

Bottle with thanks to coyotehunter. Dark brown pour with little head and aromas of chocolate, bananas and cherries. Flavor is like a chocolate covered banana with a hint of cherry and maple syrup sweetness. Like most baltics, it borders on cloying but pulls up just short. Really good stuff....

Thanks to UncleJedi for sharing! Jet black pour. Thick beige head and spotty lace. Heavy roast and vanilla on the nose. Full bodied silky mouth-feel. Roast, caramel, coffee, vanilla, and cherry skin.
