Bottle [Sk8viking great American blind tasting] Small creamy beige head that mostly diminished. Spare display of lacework. Somewhat cloudy dark amber color. Aroma of apricot, pine, grapefruit, light toffee. Over the palate came strong notes of pine, grapefruit and toasted malt and caramel. Medium to full bodied with an average carbonation and dry alcoholic texture. Moderated to heavy bitter and sweet flavor well balanced. Lingering warming alcoholic and bitter finish. 8 / 3 / 8 / 4 / 16 = 3.9

Aroma is caramel, and pine hops. Taste is nice and rounded, dark fruit, raisins, caramel, malt sweetness with a great piney balancing bitterness. Big thick mouthfeel, sticky with a lasting finish.
