Pours a nice clear dark garnet with a two finger creamy biege head and spotty lacing. Aroma is sweet caramelly malts, brown sugar, ripe dark fruits, vanilla and light citrus in the background. Flavor brings all that along, with more caramel malts, toffee, brown sugar, vanilla and dark fruits, warming but not alcoholic. Spicy hop profile in front of a thick, malty base on the nose. Some floral notes and a touch of soap. Pours dark ruby/copper with light spotty lacing. Nice balance of syrupy caramel malt and spicy hops. Touch of alcohol hotness. Lush and creamy on the palate. Slightly syrupy but in no way distracting. Lengthy hoppy finish. Thanks Matt!
