Crushed with Jakebra. Now i know why everyone wants this brew. Cuz it’s badass. Lots of fruits and citrus on the nose. Flavor is pretty full with plenty more fruity yuminess, then a great flavor of bitter hops to finish it off. Good stuff.

2008 bottle thanks to blutt59 (now I can cellar my other bottle). Pours with a slightly brown head over a hazy ruby colored body. Aroma is floral with hops, honey, raisins, peaches and brandy. Taste is very sweet (bordering on cloying), candied raisins, and light hops. Syrupy mouthfeel, light bubbles.

2008 22 oz. bottle from Plaza Liquors - Pours a clear deep mahogany color with a one finger thick light tan head. Light, small spotted lacing. Aroma is sweetened toasted malt, light spice, and some floral hops. Flavor is much of the same. Medium to full body. Has a nice bit of bitterness in the finish. Not a whole lot of esters at this point which is good in my book. A very nice BW.

22 oz bottle courtesy of bvc. 2007 Vintage. Pour is brown ruby cordovan, mostly clear with a 1/2 inch off white head. Lacing is nice. Aroma of malty caramel and grassy sweetness. Also, a nice dose of hay and floral hops behind that. As the nose opens, some scotchy smoky peatiness is perceptible as well. Taste is bright malty sweetness, still really a lot of floral and citrus hoppiness. The peat is ever so light in the very back of the finish, but is nice. Palate is medium, sweet, husky, mouth coating with lasting grassiness. Not any noticeable alcohol heat. Nice thanks Brandon.
