jeremytoni (1067), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA Nov 1, 2009 From the tap poured amber with a good amount of head. Nice hoppy flavor with a lingering finish. TBone (6674), Pori, Finland Oct 30, 2009 Bottled@SBWF 2009
Orange color, small white head. Orange, bready aroma. Bready malty, orange-hoppy (fruity) flavor. A bit sweet aftertaste, late bitterness. Basic IPA which is maybe almost APA. papajohn (1054), San Diego (Mira Mesa), California, USA Oct 23, 2009 6 pack from MCAS Miramar Marine Mart: Hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma is lightly grassy citrus and pine. Flavor starts fruity sweet with citrus followed by a sweet, semi-dry grapefruit bitter finish. Medium body is creamy with moderate carbonation. Bronzan (25), Cotati, California, USA Oct 18, 2009 Decent aroma, fairly smooth. Nothing spectacular, but very drinkable. Drinking from a bottle now...tasted much better right off the line at the brewery in Juneau. Great little tasting room if anyone makes it that far up. mcc5468 (102), USA Oct 17, 2009 From a 12 oz bottle. Pours a light golden color which frankly scared me because it is advertised as an IPA. Aroma was piney hops. Head diisappeared quickly. No lacing to speak of. Taste was definitely hops - I’d say more on the piney side than citrus as advertised. There is a finishing taste that I can’t quite put my finger on but all in all, not bad. Decent IPA. bsjay (54), Oregon, USA Oct 14, 2009 A sturdy, dependable IPA. Nothing special, but it’s a good ace in the hole. Dickinsonbeer (3434), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA Oct 6, 2009 12 oz bottle. Pours a slightly hazy deep gold with a thin lasting head and very nice lace. Aroma is grassy nutty earthy minty, english and tea-like hops, and light citrus. Flavor is clean, some grass, light herbs, mint, tea, toast, cracker with a crisp finish- light on the hops and bittering. Average at best. Seems too old school-like. Gotta get with the times and step up the hops even for a regular IPA. Joakgust (320), Stockholm, Sweden Oct 2, 2009 Bottle, 355ml - Clear golden orange beer with a small head. Aroma is fruity with notes of caramel and grapefruit. Flavor is malty with notes of citrus, caramel and grassy hops. Nice and typical IPA, nothing more nothing less.
