Commercial Description:
Alaskan IPA is honey gold in color with a fruity, citrus aroma. An enticing blend of hops and our dry hopping process, in which hops are added directly to tanks during fermentation, give this brew a very intense, complex aromatic character with a refreshing hop finish.

All around good IPA. A: clear copper with small head that shrunk quickly, but stuck to the side of the glass until the beer was gone. S: floral hops, grass, raisin T: Very hoppy, not too bitter. Not much in the malt department. M: fizzy in the front, dry in the middle, sudsy in the back. D: easy to drink if you’re already an IPA guy A little too hoppy for the average joe.

On tap at Old Chicago. Brew pours a fairly uneventful 14 karat gold with moderate carbonation and 2-finger fluffy white head. Aroma is ripe citrus including grapefruit and lemon zest, and has only a hint of pine. Nothing terribly complex in this one but drinkable. Medium mouthfeel.

Pours gold into the glass with a small white head. Aroma is full of citrus and grapefruit. Flavor is very assertive hops with a minimal malt presence. A bit unbalanced, but enjoyable.

This yellow beer poured with a massive off-white head and a yeasty aroma. There is a caramel malt flavor with some light hop bitterness. This seems like a pretty good session beer, but nothing special.
