Commercial Description:
Alaskan IPA is honey gold in color with a fruity, citrus aroma. An enticing blend of hops and our dry hopping process, in which hops are added directly to tanks during fermentation, give this brew a very intense, complex aromatic character with a refreshing hop finish.

12 oz bottle the aroma was better than average with a definite hop note. The pour was clear with a burnished copper hue. The flavor was hardy but the finish was sharp on the tongue. Drinkable overall.

Draft at Yard House, Las Vegas. Poured a clear amber color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate sour hoppy aroma. Medium body. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. This is a good drinkable brew.

On tap. The pour was very light copper in color with a super short white head that created average lacing. The aroma was nice with some soft citrus, floral and a bit of pine hops. The flavor was a combination of the aforementioned hops and some spice and malt. A thin bodied, easy drinking IPA.

There is a decent malt background that is topped off by a hop presence that is citrusy, but almost delicate. It is a bit different from most west-coast IPA’s, definately worth trying.

Color is a bright gold with good carbonation and a tight white head. Aroma is a floral hop scent. Taste is crisp and bitter. Starting with lighter medium body it goes down with a crisp easy feel. Finish come in bitter with a nice malty grain taste. After taste is more bitterness and a floral hop flavor. Overall its a very good IPA that leans on the bitter side.

Pours clear golden yellow with a creamy one-finger head with good retention and lacing. Flowery hops aromas, but not over the top. Hops dominate the flavors as well, but caramel malts and spiciness are evident. Light to medium body, generously carbonated, and citrusy hops aftertaste. Pretty standard IPA.
