jimbowood (947), Athens, Georgia, USA Oct 4, 2008 bottle from bevmo in Tempe. A nice ipa, but nothing spectacular. Mild hop presence makes this an optimal ipa for coors drinkers. 0o9i (326), Reno, Nevada, USA Oct 3, 2008 Bottles. It’s a fizzy yellow beer with a bit of kick. Clear, too light to be honey body with a white head and OK lace. Aroma is wanting with a touch of hops, a touch of malts. Mouth is decent with medium body and a relatively dry finish. Flavor includes mild hops, a touch of sugar, and that’s about it. It’s a sad IPA, but a decent beer when I just "want a beer" without much care about what it is. Aquilo (248), California, USA Sep 26, 2008 Lovely clear golden orange color with a fluffy white head. Smell is very sweet with apples and cherries. Flavor is weird. It’s predominantly hops, with a musty herbal taste that doesn’t need to be here. It overpowers any fruit flavor, and I was expecting a BIG fruit flavor. Oh, well. danielcurtis81 (879), San Diego, California, USA Sep 20, 2008 SDFOB ’08. Draft. Color a bit hazy hay. Aromas of citrus. Taste is thin without much hops. Not Alaskan’s best beer, but alright. anders37 (4516), Malmö, Sweden Sep 20, 2008 Draught @ WABF 2008. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. Has a light malty aroma with some citrus hoppy hints. Sweet malty hoppy flavor with citrus hints. Has a malty hoppy finish with a long hoppy aftertaste. Sickboy282 (1098), San Diego, California, USA Sep 14, 2008 Pours a clear golden hue with a frothy white head with decent lacing. Aromas of wheat, hay, a light citrus and some more grains...Lacking much hop character in the aroma.
Mouth feel is light bodied. Flavors similar to the aromas with a semi dry finish. mmmmm... lacking something. swoopjones (1862), Buffalo, New York, USA Sep 14, 2008 bottle. Pours a light orange amber with an aroma that falls short on hops. Taste is muted hop bitterness with some malt sweetness. Averaqge IPA darn1207 (528), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Sep 11, 2008 12oz bottle from belmont station in portland. clear amber-yellow pour with a thin off-white head. aroma of malt and light citrus. thinnish body. taste is mainly the malts with a hint of hops. pretty bland overall. if I suddenly traveled back to college and needed to chug a lot of beer, this would be a good choice. k-6.5
