Aroma of creamed caramel, malts and corn. Smooth mouthfeel showcasing exquisite balance in it’s flavour. The slight bitter hint in the finish is excellent. A true classic IPA owing more to the UK style than monster hop bombs. Cletus (5052), Connecticut, USA

This IPA was not as piney or fruity as I’m used to. The citrus tasted a cross between lemons and limes with a little floral. Also, it was reasonably malty. yespr (12020), Copenhagen O, Denmark

Peachy and grapefruity hops aroma. Smooth and crisp hops flavour of the same. This keeps lingering into a lovely fruity hops finish. Very smooth flavourwise! | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 27, 2008 Draught, Scott’s in Oakland. Amber with a small head (well, they filled it to the rim), decent foam lacing. Light caramel and herbal scent. The flavor is pretty uninspiring. Yea, this is an IPA, but the hops are a little herbal and rough, with a weak and thin malt body. Not too bitter, but not that smooth either. I’m being hard on this one, but in all fairness it’s a perfectly drinkable beer, just mediocre in the style. hillfiiiiire (284), Madison, Wisconsin, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 15, 2008 It looks all right with a nice white bubbly head, but it looks pale enough to make me uncomfortable when I consider this to be an IPA. It smells a little citrusy and then a little vomity. The taste just about matches that too. It’s quite unappealing, and that bottle just made me want to drink it so bad. Maybe it’s just failed expectations here?
