The aroma was strong grapefruit with some peanuts and apples. The taste was grapefruit with some spice. A light piney finish. A nice overall IPA that I would buy a lot more if I could get locally. dm9831 (1167), Monee, Illinois, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Jul 13, 2008 Bottle. Very nice pungent fruity aroma. Color is a little dull and golden for an IPA. Flavor is there, its just very dull. Kind of bland. Wish there was more of it. blankboy (3201), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 12, 2008 Bottle (22oz). Pours a clear yellow-orange with an average size diminishing foamy white head. Very mild aroma of resiny hops and sweet malt -- not much else really, it’s a little dull. Flavour, also mild, of resiny hops and some fruit. Average bitter finish. Average to medium bodied. It’s alright but it is a bit dull, simple and overly mild. Maybe it’s unfair to compare but there’s so many great American IPAs out there to compare it against and this one just doesn’t cut it for me. TikiE (360), Sylva, North Carolina, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 11, 2008 Bottled: Pours a dark gold color that smells of citrus and hops. Tastes hoppy with a bitter finish. Good, but with the awesome bottle I wanted it to be better! DuffMan (2751), the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, Canada
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Jul 10, 2008 Tough to compare after having the Hop Wallop! Hazy deep bronze, decent head. Sweet aroma, leafy and citrus hops. Fairly light mouthfeel, nothing over-aggressive in the hop department, an IPA that seems to have been made with 3/4 of the ingredients all around. xarcadia (9), USA does not count | 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 18/20 | Jul 6, 2008 Floral aroma. Nice fruity hops on the flavor. Best IPA I’ve had in a while! HoppyGuy (111), USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 6, 2008 Bottle. Pours a clear medium gold color with a medium off-white head. Aroma is of citrus and hops. There is pine and citrus in the flavor, and the hops is a bit subdued for an IPA. Nice finish (I like a good bitter). I like a more in-your-face IPA, but this is still a decent brew. I’d like to pair this brew with spaghetti and homemade marinara sauce & Italian sausage.
