Snojerk321 (1917), San Diego, California, USA Jun 21, 2008 22oz bottle from BevMo! Mission Valley. Pours a clear, golden amber with a 2 finger off white head. Faint aromas of pine and grapefruit. Flavor was semi sweet with a light bitterness on the finish. A fairly weak IPA. SuperDave70 (1157), Beautiful Sunny Mesa, Arizona, USA Jun 18, 2008 Clear amberish pour with a medium foamy head. Citrus and hops aroma and flavor. Medium palate. A good, but fairly standard IPA. BlackForestCO (819), Fort Collins, Colorado, USA Jun 16, 2008 Updated: Mar 15, 2009Bottle shared by mmtmatrix. Poured a clear golden color with a moderate white head that faded to a ring. Aroma of subdued earthy hops with some light pine. Lightly tart, citric entry leads into a moderately bitter, earthy hop hit with some lingering bitterness in the finish. Pretty nice mouthfeel, could have been a bit more aggressive though. Overall, solid. Crosling (1854), Loveland, Colorado, USA Jun 15, 2008 Light golden/bronze color with a small foam. Woodsy and medicinal hop aroma, with some herbaceousness as well. Fairly aromatic, but not pleasant for me at all. Flavor is fairly hoppy, also woodsy like the nose, with spruce hints and some honey covered fruits. Don’t care for the super medicinal nose, but the flavor is pretty spot on for the style and well balanced. Could be brighter, but its a pretty good IPA. Beerdedone (1873), Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 10, 2008 Bottle. Pours a light orange/amber color with a white head and spotty lacing. Aroma of citrus and piney hops, grainy malts and some grapefruit. Flavor is lightly sweet with caramel, citrus, mild malts, and grapefruit with a dry and bitter finish. Rogueone (506), I F&ckin’ hate those guys from, Ohio, USA Jun 2, 2008 Bottle sampled at Alan’s HSC initiation, thanks Dogbrick: Aroma on this one is floral, tad of citrus rind. Resiny hop, some citrus, medium-bodied mouthfeel. Not too bad, but not all that memorable. HogTownHarry (3922), Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, Canada Jun 1, 2008 Bottle (22oz). Hazy light brass pour, 2cm foamy/creamy white head. Sweet and juicy aroma - pineapple, mango and tangerine, some acidic resin and citrus zest. The taste is quite light - pine resin and tart tropical fruit, a little thin around the edges, nice and crisp, but not all that carbonated, a little watery and acidic in the finish. Decent, I’d drink it again - goes down easy and doesn’t pack a huge punch. nearbeer (1833), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA May 30, 2008 Draft @ Tin Fish, San Diego. Copper and clear, with a small head. Aroma is citrus and pine resin. Flavor is mostly the same with some nutty malt for balance. Finishes with more resiny hops. Light-medium body is watery and slightly dry.
