Mar 21, 2008 Great label art. Pours slightly amber with an off-white 3/4 inch head. Plenty of lacing.
Big hop and piney-citrus aroma.
Flavor is crisp, resinous citrus hops, sweet malt with excellent balance. Website lists IBU as 55 which is more than enough for my tastes.
Palate is average.
Overall a fine IPA, maybe a bit mild compared to some of the hop-bombs being brewed nowadays but I enjoyed this very much. Very clean, dry-bitter finish. Well recommended.

Mar 8, 2008 Pale gold, thin head. Very floral hop aroma with citrus. Simple, juicy and muted hop flavor. Rather still on the palate. Low bitterness. Super simple beer, clean but rather boring.

I did just have another IPA. Maybe it’s overpowering this one? Just ate
some peanuts to clear my palate. Still hardly any taste. Very mild hop taste. Weird. This is an IPA?

Mar 7, 2008 On tap @ City Beer. Pours golden tone with full white head. Nose is bitter hops. The taste is the same. This is a very bland and boring beer. Drinkable, but only if nothing else is arouond, or if you wan’t to post more ratings :-)

Mar 7, 2008 Bottle. Pours clear amber yellow with a large thinish off white head. Nose is really weak and maltish, not very IPA at all to me. Taste is clean but bland, not real flower/hoppiness that I like in an IPA. Finish is again clean but nothing happens worth noting.

Mar 7, 2008 Pours a see through amber with a small fizzy head. Slight aroma of hops and malt, really a pretty weak aroma for a IPA. Taste of malt, and a slight hint of a hop and bitterness at the finish. Very watery mouthfeel. This was just okay for me.

Mar 6, 2008 Blah. This was terrible. I did a double take on the label to make sure it really said IPA. Aroma was nothing. Could pick up some grassy hops, but barely. Pour was a standard medium gold with a thin off white ring for a head. Taste was like a bland amber ale. No hops and a hint of malt. Mostly just stale beer flavor. They really missed the mark with this one.
