| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 2, 2008 Nice IPA, not too bitter, golden corn colored brew. Hints of honey, citrus and melon, and of course, lots of hops. Good with pizza. AmEricanbrew (1808), Doing Rogue, Louisiana, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 30, 2008 Clear amber with a fleeting white head. Nice hop smell is grapefruit and floral. Smooth with a medium body. Hop driven flavors here are tart grapefruit and floral resin. Not much malt presence, but just enough to carry the medium intense hop flavors and offer a lightly sweet balance to the brew. Finishes tastefully bitter. Love the global warming inspired surfer on the label. 6157 presario (2956), Calgary, Alberta, Canada
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Mar 27, 2008 Bottle. Beautiful gold with thick head which leaves an artistic inch of lace around the glass. That is the aroma I associate with IPAs. Strong citrus. Not overpowering, just perfect for the style. Powerful but restrained hop taste. Lots of delicious citrus taste. I love hops and for brewers it is easy to keep adding them but there is something enticing about hitting a clear note. spikester (602), Salem, Oregon, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 21, 2008 Great label art. Pours slightly amber with an off-white 3/4 inch head. Plenty of lacing.
Big hop and piney-citrus aroma.
Flavor is crisp, resinous citrus hops, sweet malt with excellent balance. Website lists IBU as 55 which is more than enough for my tastes.
Palate is average.
Overall a fine IPA, maybe a bit mild compared to some of the hop-bombs being brewed nowadays but I enjoyed this very much. Very clean, dry-bitter finish. Well recommended. biz82 (1328), austin, Texas, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 8, 2008 Pale gold, thin head. Very floral hop aroma with citrus. Simple, juicy and muted hop flavor. Rather still on the palate. Low bitterness. Super simple beer, clean but rather boring. Oscbert (538), Sacramento, California, USA

~Earthy hop aroma with citrusy notes
~ Really not much to the flavor. Kinda bland. Am I tasting this correctly?
I did just have another IPA. Maybe it’s overpowering this one? Just ate
some peanuts to clear my palate. Still hardly any taste. Very mild hop taste. Weird. This is an IPA?
~ Creamy with a quick finish
~ This beer is definetly a drinkable beer. It’s like drinking air sprinkled
with a tinge of bitterness. There is hardly any flavor. The scent is nice. Could it be that this beer is
so well balanced with hops and malts that it canceled out all the flavor?
I am so mystified by this beer and its non existent flavor that I have
to give it a decent overall score.
Will have to try again...
