Bockyhorsey (2487), Mesa, Arizona, USA Jan 18, 2008 12oz bottle wife got me for Christmas. Decent ipa aroma and flavor were the the same a medium citrus and noticed a touch of some toast. Refreshing brew would be good with dinner at a brew pub imo. BlackDonald (1127), Boise, Idaho, USA Jan 18, 2008 A little on the thin side, but overall pretty well balanced, with nothing overwhleming the other. The hops characteristics are kind of eccentric, with lots of cascade qualities. Very dry on the palate, but clean and crisp. Could use a bit more maltiness. beerguy101 (3861), Newark, California, USA Jan 14, 2008 This India Pale Ale pours a deep orange gold color from a 22oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is citrusy and floral, very fresh. A medium bodied IPA. The malts are caramel, fruity and sweet. The hops are citrusy and grapefruity. It seems to be more hop forward than it used to be, but I have no notes and am going from an old memory here. Decent balance. This beer is hoppy without being over the top or over aggressive. Lively carbonation. It’s a touch grassy in the finish. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is dry and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. rmussman (905), California, USA Jan 12, 2008 Poured out of a 22 oz bottle. Hue is nice and pale. Flavor is very crisp and has a thin lacey head. Worth a try if you can find it, though I had never seen it around before. ChillCoat (1029), Concord, California, USA Jan 10, 2008 Updated: Feb 2, 2008Bottle. An awesome looking IPA! A little clear but nice and light colored with a just off-white/ ivory head. Worty/ fruity smelling malt aroma with some grapefruit hop notes. Slightly sweet and pretty fruity but nicely hopped. Hop forward. Citrusy. Man, I don’t get the ratings here, I think this is an nice IPA! jbean (110), Illinois, USA Jan 6, 2008 Bottle. Pours clear gold with thin white head. Aroma is of grapefruit and citrus, but you can tell that it’s not going to be a really powerful IPA. Flavor is good, to style and well-balanced, but nothing too exciting. A little watery and the flavor just needs a little more kick. An average IPA. golubj (1275), Sunnyvale, California, USA Jan 4, 2008 Bottle. Gold / yellow color with a thin white head and some visible carbonation. Aroma of citrus / lemons, floral hops, and some pine hops. Pilsner-like malt flavor with a little citrus and pine hop finish. franksnbeans (265), Columbus, Maryland, USA Dec 29, 2007 Pours a clear golden amber with a small head and some decent lacing. Smells of a little grapefruit, a little malt and some hops. Very mild taste which is fine but dissapointing if seeking an intense IPA. Mild hops and balancing malt, some citrus rind but nothing comes close to blowing you away. Finishes a tad dry but leaves the pallate something to desire. Mouthfeel is light and crisp. This is an IPA made to sip continuously on a hot day. A middle of the road IPA.
