theisti (1638), Leawood, Kansas, USA Dec 11, 2007 12 oz. bottle from Albertson’s in Burien, WA. Pour is clear golden with a one inch white head and some lasting carbonation bubbles. Aroma of dirt and some resin pine hops. Not terribly pronounced. Taste is actually not that great. I had hoped for more, but this tastes pretty much like any IPA you would have at a run of the mill brew pub. mkobes (2103), paramus, New Jersey, USA Dec 7, 2007 Bottle at Pt. Loma Seafood. Orange golden in color with a little head. Little hoppy aroma with some soggy cardboard notes. Light citrusy hoppy flavor. Could be a much better beer. Ok tasting. Eyedrinkale (3209), Astoria, New York, USA Nov 29, 2007 Bottle at Pt Loma Seafood. Orange gold with a small head. The hops have fallen quite a bit and you can also get a bit of soggy cardboard. Athlugh the code seems to say 9/19/07, this been has seen better days. There is a decent citrus to it though along with a scent (chinook?) hoppiness. I’d love to try this beer fresher. hayduke (1618), Eureka, California, USA Nov 20, 2007 From a 12 oz bottle purchased in Clarkston, Washington, this poured a gold color with fluffy and long lasting white head and moderate lacing. Nose of light hops, with some pine and flowers. Medium mouthfeel Flavor of citrus and mild malts. Long bitter finish. redlight (1445), Winter Park, Florida, USA Nov 20, 2007 Sweet citrus aromas, mild hop aromas, more sweet malts, with some biscuit. Light gold, blonde color. Very sweet for an ipa, very mild hop flavor, some citrus, with notes of pine resin, with more honey malts. Very mild ipa, i prefer something with more kick. Good session beer though. elnadeau (786), Laguna Niguel, California, USA Nov 20, 2007 One has hopes for a brewery with decent sized distribution to produce a tasty IPA, alas this one misses on several levels. More of a boring APA than an IPA, not enough of anything to make it interesting. Please re-spin this recipe and try again. chadzter (94), huntsville, Alabama, USA Nov 18, 2007 Bottle. Pours a nice red golden color. The head forms a nice foamy white head the faded down with a thin lacing of the glass. Aroma is mostly floral hops with fruity citrus. Good carbonation and a nice bitter taste. Taverner (825), San Ramon, California, USA Nov 14, 2007 Crisp, but ultimately flavorless. The aroma is that of a pine forest - giving you high expectations. The first taste, however, is a grapefruit note. After that it fades quickly. This IPA poured a clear gold to light amber in a half-yard. The head was white and frothy.
