Poured from bottle...nice yellow amber color that looks to darken in the center of the glass. Very nice carbonation. Aroma is of pine and grapefruit. Nice bitterness...tastes much like grapefruit. Very interesting IPA.... DrBayern (1135), Morehead City, North Carolina, USA

Light amber with a moderate lasting whtie head and nice lace - a good looking beer. Mild piney op aroma with some substantial caramel malt character. Smooth medium body. Caramel and roasted malt flavors with very soft bitterness in a fading finish. Underwhelming. jerc (3888), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 28, 2007 Updated: Sep 11, 20082008-09-02. Crisp dark yellow body with a nice creamy off-white head. (3+) . Pleasant hoppy aroma (7+) with a touch of grass and muted citrus that carry over to the flavour. Average palate. Quite drinkable, but on the mild side and I crave more citrus from the hops. 7/4/7/3/14+ - 3.4 On tap at the brewery, Juneau
July 2007. Golden yellow body, small white head. Moderate hoppy aroma, with grassy notes. Flavour has a decent amount of bitterness and light citrusy hops and light grassy notes, though less assertive than I might like. Average palate. Quite quaffable – pleasant. 6-7/3/7/3/14 Bottle courtesy of Mabel’s parents.

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 27, 2007 Bomber purchased at the Covell Nugget in Davis, CA. Aroma has plenty of C-hops. I defintely get some cascades and centennials in there. Plenty of citrus grapefruity hop aromas along with a few pine notes. A litte bit of cereal graininess is also detected in the nose, too. Fairly aromatic. Transparent golden body with an orange tint. Relatively frothy light pastel yellow head with nice lacing. Hmm. Has a weird metallic astringency to start. Some carboard-swampy flavors come in the middle. Some modest and mostly subdued herbal and lightly grapefruited hops finish this beer. Just seems like it is lacking some bitterness and some bite. A very tame IPA, despite the promising aroma. jclzony (25), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 24, 2007 Pours clear amber with an orange colored hue exhibiting a off-white head that diminished quickly. Nice hoppy aroma, floral and citrus with undertones of toasty malts and fresh summer fruit. A nice hop blast that seems to recede quickly to a mild toasty malt flavor as continued to consume. The hops have floral and citrus aspects with some spiciness. The malts remain lightly toasty with periodic glimpses of toffee. Seemed to exhibit characteristics similar to an American Pale Ale rather than an IPA. Not my favorite IPA but definiitely different and interesting. jmcguire1969 (149), Lafayette, Colorado, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 21, 2007 This is a good beer but more like a APA style rather than IPA. The hops in this one have a great fruity flavor to them and it finished with a nice mild bitterness. Very nice. Thanks to JDean who brought some back from a trip home. bager (2121), Copenhagen N, Denmark
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 12, 2007 Bottle. Pours hazy golden in colour with a medium sized off-white head. Somewhat malty with notes of pines, flowers, citrus and a hint of caramel. Angeloregon (2025), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 11, 2007 This is one of the few PNW IPAs that is reminiscent of the English style. Still with fruity and citrusy hops, this beer is quite floral. Lighter in color than many of the NW style India pales. a nice frothy white head with little lacing but a clean finish and a subtle hop aroma and finish makes for an almost session-worthy bomber. Malty presence is there, but overall, what a nice well-balanced brew!
