Commercial Description:
Alaskan IPA is honey gold in color with a fruity, citrus aroma. An enticing blend of hops and our dry hopping process, in which hops are added directly to tanks during fermentation, give this brew a very intense, complex aromatic character with a refreshing hop finish.

Aroma is full of nice piney hps and nice complimentary malts. The appearance is a light golden color, which is very clean in appearance. The head is a thin white collar. Flavor is very nice with a nice amount of hops, matls, spices, and a real clean taste, perhaps due to the quality of the water. The palate is very easy to drink, smooth all the way through. The quality of the water in the mix is unequaled. Excellent brew.

Slighly hazy crisp golden coloured body with a light apricot hue and a thinnish slightly off-white head. Aroma of fresh cascade and floral hops with a light bitterness and some malt coming through. Light-bodied; VERY mild hop flavour with almost no malt and a very subtle effervescence. Almost no flavour throughout, with perhaps a bit of hops, but this appears way more like a helles than an IPA. Aftertaste shows some light hops, but again - a very mild beer. Overall, a very passable beer and one that probably should be avoided if you want a real, hoppy and well-balanced IPA! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Hi-Time Wine Cellars in Costa Mesa, California on 18-May-2009, sampled at home in Washington on 22-July-2009.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Slightly hazy golden with an off-white head. Some aroma hops in the nose. Medium body, malt and fruit with a somewhat raw and unrefined hoppy finish. 060709

A golden beer with small head. Aroma of piney hops. Taste is very smooth with not a lot of complexity to it, but would make a very good starter IPA to someone not acclimated to the style.

(bottle) pale yellow colour; nice hoppy aroma with a bit of evergreens in it; rather austere, dry, hoppy and mineral flavour; long bitter and mineral finish. Underwhelming.

very flowery. has a kind of nice resiny quality. pours a really pale color, not what i was expecting. got it on tap in cayucos CA. nice carbo and mouthfeel though. not a bad beer for a lighter style ipa but it definitely doesn’t stand out.

Bomber thanks to Wavers1....Big nose of malt and grapefruit, color is a dirty cloudy orange with a nice head. Taste however is not blow your hair back amazing, but still pretty palatable. Some floral hop notes, some malt, modest carbonation.Malt is stronger than the fruit, Im thinking this could be a bit more balanced. Finish has a light bitter, and has a somewhat tart and dry finish. Not bad....this should rate higher, but I may have a good bottle too.....never know.
