The pour was very light copper in color with a super short white head that created average lacing. The aroma was nice with some soft citrus, floral and a bit of pine hops. The flavor was a combination of the aforementioned hops and some spice and malt. A thin bodied, easy drinking IPA. stefanje (944), (Santee) San Diego, California, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 23, 2008 650 ml bottle from Bevmo. Pours a translucent gold color with a big white head. The aroma is mildly hoppy with clean citrus notes. The flavor is a bit mild for an IPA (at least compared to the CA IPA’s). There is grapefruit, pine and caramel. The mouthfeel is a bit on the thin side at least to my expectations. The finish is long with lingering biter hops. Overall: Fairly ordinary IPA, not up to extreme session standards. ajm (932), Los Angeles, California, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 20, 2009 Tap at the Yard House Las Vegas. I don’t believe how low this beer is rated. Aroma is full with grapefruit and blossom, hops aren’t immense but they are present and accounted for. Good citric intensity with piney outlines. Highly drinkable yet well-crafted.
