A faint pine aroma, a bit too thin in the body. Bright orange color, thin white head. Not very impressed. CanIHave4Beers (897), Des Moines, Iowa, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 14, 2009 Pours a clear golden with lots of effervessence and a good billowy white head. Aroma is grassy with some nice citrus. I’ve had countless IPAs with grassy aromas, but I doubt I’ve ever had one with a grassy flavor, until now. Very earthy, wonderfully spicy with a very good hoppiness, but not without a strong malt backbone with a good grainyness. This is really a nice IPA, far better than I had expcected, if a bit one dimensional. illidurit (890), Santa Cruz, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 23, 2009 Pours a crystal clear orange-gold with a nice beige cap of foam. Aroma is soft and sweet, with notes of peach, orange, and bubblegum. A bit too faint and sweet for me. Candied lemon wedge flavor with some pithy grapefruit and a pale malt finish with medium bitterness. A little sweet overall but the hops are bright and the bitterness is solid and unastringent. troopie (888), USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 12, 2007 Bottle. Poured clear bronze with white head. Grainy aroma with some citrus. Hoppy taste with a bit of pine. Hoppy finish. I found no maltiness in this. dkoonce (884), People’s Republic of Athens, Ohio, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 17, 2009 Bottle, as they were out at the brewery tasting. Very typical of the style. Over hopped and under malted. As a hop head, I can get into this, though. GMCC2181 (867), Bear/Elkton, Delaware, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Nov 14, 2007 Crisp, but ultimately flavorless. The aroma is that of a pine forest - giving you high expectations. The first taste, however, is a grapefruit note. After that it fades quickly. This IPA poured a clear gold to light amber in a half-yard. The head was white and frothy. glennmastrange (857), hobe sound, Florida, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 1, 2009 Bottle. Light grain note for the malt, moderate aroma of flowers for the hops, no noticeable yeast smell, and a hint of wood in the background. Head is average sized, frothy, white with good lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is clear amber. Flavor is lightly sweet and moderately acidic, then finishes moderately acidic and bitter. Palate is light to medium, watery, has a carbonation between lively and fizzy and finishes dry. Pretty simple on the aromas, but as crisp and clean as an IPA gets.
