Poured a clear golden color with a moderate white head that faded to a ring. Aroma of subdued earthy hops with some light pine. Lightly tart, citric entry leads into a moderately bitter, earthy hop hit with some lingering bitterness in the finish. Pretty nice mouthfeel, could have been a bit more aggressive though. Overall, solid. OSLO (829), Minnesota, USA

Aroma is floral hops--almost like a bad perfume, and malt. Taste is about the same, but a fair amount sweeter, and maybe with a hint of fruit--strawberry maybe? Thin mouthfeel. Not that good. drjay44 (825), Salida, Colorado, USA

Pours a crystal clear, pale golden body with a finger-width, foamy, white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a lot of nice lacing. Aroma is caramel and sweet, piney citrus. Same flavor with some honey in there as well. Impressive balance with lots of nice, soft caramels and easy on the palate piney hops. Slightly dry with a moderate bitter finish. Not as dry as some more intense IPAs. Palate is medium bodied and very quaffable. Overall, a nice, well balanced IPA. Very drinkable and a great session IPA. elnadeau (786), Laguna Niguel, California, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 20, 2007 One has hopes for a brewery with decent sized distribution to produce a tasty IPA, alas this one misses on several levels. More of a boring APA than an IPA, not enough of anything to make it interesting. Please re-spin this recipe and try again.
