Jun 12, 2007 Clear gold w/ big white head. Good fresh aroma. Fresh hoppy flavor too w/ a good bite to it. Crisp finish. Dry but OK. Sort of reminds me of Stone IPA. Would immediately go into the regular rotation if I could get it here. Excellent & underrated.

Oct 16, 2008 A little weak for an IPA in my opinion, but decent overall. It’s a very ordinary IPA, indistinguishable from so many other IPAs, though a little less flavorful than most also. Drinkable; Nothing more, nothing less.

Aug 20, 2009 Bottle, pours a rather yellow color, with a decent white head, mild hop aroma, some light malt sweetness, and medium hops, a sessionable ipa, really a sessionable IPA? hmm.

Oct 12, 2007 Updated: Mar 6, 2009Thanks to Skyview for sharing. Pours a light orangish golden color. Light earthy citrusy hoppiness on the nose. Very dry hoppiness, but the flavor is very muted. Not that great.

This is a hell of a session IPA, of course fresh could help, as I am in NW MT now, but it was well balanced with a nice piney floral hoppiness and a nice subtle malt backbone.

Mar 21, 2008 Great label art. Pours slightly amber with an off-white 3/4 inch head. Plenty of lacing.
Big hop and piney-citrus aroma.
Flavor is crisp, resinous citrus hops, sweet malt with excellent balance. Website lists IBU as 55 which is more than enough for my tastes.
Palate is average.
Overall a fine IPA, maybe a bit mild compared to some of the hop-bombs being brewed nowadays but I enjoyed this very much. Very clean, dry-bitter finish. Well recommended.

Feb 13, 2009 12 oz bottle. Pours a clear golden yellow with a big rocky white head that retains well and laces the glass.
The aroma is mild spicy and grassy hops with some sweet slightly vegetal malts.
The flavor is some sweet malts with a earthy, grassy hop finish that has some decent bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with some sharp carbonation.
Overall, a pretty average IPA. I didn’t really care for the flavor profile. I prefer brighter fruitier hops.

Sep 7, 2007 Super average IPA, like an overhopped bud light type brew...ya know? It’s Alaskan, wasn’t expecting much. Nothing terribly wrong, it’s just small.
