Jun 18, 2006 had during a trip to alaska. definitely an ipa but not as bold as most. refreshing after a long day of cranking in halibut.

Sep 18, 2009 Pours pale golden color with moderate sized white head. In the glass you might mistake it for a macro lager in terms of color.
Nose is prickly grapefruit and lemon, but overall on the lighter side. Very subdued.
On the palate a more balanced malt/hop balance is apparent for an IPA, with nothing too extreme going on. Perhaps this is more of a traditional IPA than "American" IPA.
Finish is dry with pine. Easy drinking IPA.

May 18, 2009 Bomber - great nose, crisp pine with some citrus (lemon?) - tastes as it smells, but a bit more subdued and a little watery. Solid IPA, nothing special, but I felt like having another immediately, so bonus points for that and the price.

Aug 25, 2008 Citrus hops throughout, some flowers too. More on the mild than wild, but it turns it into a good session beer. Clean body, taste dissipates fairly quickly.

Oct 3, 2008 Bottles. It’s a fizzy yellow beer with a bit of kick. Clear, too light to be honey body with a white head and OK lace. Aroma is wanting with a touch of hops, a touch of malts. Mouth is decent with medium body and a relatively dry finish. Flavor includes mild hops, a touch of sugar, and that’s about it. It’s a sad IPA, but a decent beer when I just "want a beer" without much care about what it is.

Aug 15, 2008 Bottle at Paley’s Place, Portland. Beautiful tawny tan colour. Aroma of creamed caramel, malts and corn. Smooth mouthfeel showcasing exquisite balance in it’s flavour. The slight bitter hint in the finish is excellent. A true classic IPA owing more to the UK style than monster hop bombs.

Oct 2, 2009 Bottle, 355ml - Clear golden orange beer with a small head. Aroma is fruity with notes of caramel and grapefruit. Flavor is malty with notes of citrus, caramel and grassy hops. Nice and typical IPA, nothing more nothing less.

Jul 27, 2009 Aroma is full of nice piney hps and nice complimentary malts. The appearance is a light golden color, which is very clean in appearance. The head is a thin white collar. Flavor is very nice with a nice amount of hops, matls, spices, and a real clean taste, perhaps due to the quality of the water. The palate is very easy to drink, smooth all the way through. The quality of the water in the mix is unequaled. Excellent brew.
