Aug 18, 2007 Smells of citrus and bitter hops with a faint aroma of sweet malts. Taste is not quite as pungent as I was expecting. A little watery then the full flavor of the hops comes through. Not a bad IPA, but there is better.

Jun 23, 2009 Sampled at Made in the Shade 2009. Much better when bottled. This sampling, pours a deep gold with a two-finger head. Aroma is cardboard, hops, soap, and some sweet malt. Taste is very thin, soapy, and tastes old. I’m not sure what happened to this keg, but this is not the beer I remember. This seemed to be a common problem at this festival this year.

Sep 15, 2007 22oz bottle. Love the label to this bottle. Pours a golden color with small white head. Piney hop aroma, flavor is mild for an IPA. Not bad but also not the best. Average IPA.

Jul 3, 2008 Pours transparent golden with typical white head that lasts a while. Aroma is fruity citrus hops. Flavor is typical Northwest hops along with nicely dry and bitter finish. Nice malt backbone. Not a strong IPA by any means, but quite drinkable like a strong pale ale. I would buy again.

Mar 7, 2008 Bottle. Pours clear amber yellow with a large thinish off white head. Nose is really weak and maltish, not very IPA at all to me. Taste is clean but bland, not real flower/hoppiness that I like in an IPA. Finish is again clean but nothing happens worth noting.

Jul 11, 2009 A golden beer with small head. Aroma of piney hops. Taste is very smooth with not a lot of complexity to it, but would make a very good starter IPA to someone not acclimated to the style.

Sep 2, 2008 Metal dominates the taste, followed by some funky malt...not a good combo. LOW, unreasonably low hop flavor for an IPA, and what little hop flavor remains is not that great. Ugly color, little head. Other than all that, not bad.

Jul 13, 2008 Bottle. Very nice pungent fruity aroma. Color is a little dull and golden for an IPA. Flavor is there, its just very dull. Kind of bland. Wish there was more of it.
