Mar 27, 2008 Bottle. Beautiful gold with thick head which leaves an artistic inch of lace around the glass. That is the aroma I associate with IPAs. Strong citrus. Not overpowering, just perfect for the style. Powerful but restrained hop taste. Lots of delicious citrus taste. I love hops and for brewers it is easy to keep adding them but there is something enticing about hitting a clear note.

Aug 2, 2009 12 oz bottle. As far as IPAs go, this is very standard. There’s nothing special about this, nothing experimental, bold, or risky; it’s just an excellent example of the style. Very basic but very good.

May 20, 2007 Updated: May 23, 2007My oh my, this is good stuff, and mighty tasty! I tried to figure out the taste for an hour before finding this site! It does definitely have that grapefruit and pine taste and caramel smell to it; and --- it’s gosh darn good!

Aug 15, 2008 Pours gold/amber with a white head. Smells of citrus and earthy. Tastes citrusy and nicely bitter with a grapefuit like finish. Nice!

Aug 16, 2006 At the brewery in Juneau, not yet bottled. Nice golden color with hoppy and slight pine nose. Crisp, very refreshing, much lighter on the hops than most NE IPAs but the clean finish had me wanting more. Very easy to drink. I’d certainly buy it if it was available. The brewer said it was still in the testing phase and should be bottled in a couple years.

Aug 7, 2008 From tap at Stone Bistro. Pours golden yellow with a white head. Peachy and grapefruity hops aroma. Smooth and crisp hops flavour of the same. This keeps lingering into a lovely fruity hops finish. Very smooth flavourwise!

Sep 2, 2007 Another recent rating where I’m shocked at the low overall score. Pours clear copper with a good amount of an off-white head. The aroma has lots of citric hops, bits of pineapple, some sweetness and a good toasted malty backbone. Medium body that is more full & rich than most IPAs. There is some nice soft carbonation. The flavor starts with a citrus and pineapple blend to give a bold / rich hoppy presence. There is a bit of bitterness with the hops which is nice and some good underlying malt to balance. The finish is clean with some additional piny and spicy hops. A very well crafted IPA. Many thanks go out to Terminus for picking this treat up for me.
