Commercial Description:
Alaskan IPA is honey gold in color with a fruity, citrus aroma. An enticing blend of hops and our dry hopping process, in which hops are added directly to tanks during fermentation, give this brew a very intense, complex aromatic character with a refreshing hop finish.

Bottle from Windy City. Deep golden color with orange hi-lights upon pouring. Citric hoppy aroma. Somewhat peppery. Flavor is dry and hoppy. Good solid bitter qualities. Not super bitter, but an easy sipper with good hoppiness.

Had it right a the brewery and was favorably impressed. It will not wow those hop heads but it was clearly within style and clean tasting.

Pours transparent golden with typical white head that lasts a while. Aroma is fruity citrus hops. Flavor is typical Northwest hops along with nicely dry and bitter finish. Nice malt backbone. Not a strong IPA by any means, but quite drinkable like a strong pale ale. I would buy again.

22-oz bottle received via trade with 5000. Pours clear orange with an average, fizzy, white head, mostly lasting with good lacing. Aroma is average malt (grain, meal), heavy hops (flowers, perfume, pine, citrus), average yeast (sweat) with notes of pear, apple, and peach. Medium bodied, thin texture, average carbonation, and a bitter finish. Average duration, light sweetness, moderate acidity and bitterness.

Washington Brewers Festival. Nice copper color with wonderful Cascade hop nose and taste. Very refreshing and easy to drink, which I did several times.

This is a good beer but more like a APA style rather than IPA. The hops in this one have a great fruity flavor to them and it finished with a nice mild bitterness. Very nice. Thanks to JDean who brought some back from a trip home.
