| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 6, 2007 bottle from SecretSanta ( Thanks!) My first alaska beer, and this is a good one, probalby the easiest drinking IPA i’ve had, its not overwhelming with hops which normally would dock the rating but this drank so smooth with just the right bitterness, i could drink gallons. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 1, 2009 Bottle. Light grain note for the malt, moderate aroma of flowers for the hops, no noticeable yeast smell, and a hint of wood in the background. Head is average sized, frothy, white with good lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is clear amber. Flavor is lightly sweet and moderately acidic, then finishes moderately acidic and bitter. Palate is light to medium, watery, has a carbonation between lively and fizzy and finishes dry. Pretty simple on the aromas, but as crisp and clean as an IPA gets. rmussman (905), California, USA
